Art Moves Africa
This mobility fund is supported by a grant from the Ford Foundation and aims to assist cultural operators to travel to work with their counterparts within Africa. The Board comprises members from all over Africa and to date, Board meetings have been held in Belgium, Senegal, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania. The Fund was registered formally as an international organization in 2008, and du Plessis was elected President in Feb 2006 for a 3 year term of office, and re-elected again in 2009 till 2011.
